I visited Japan about 17 years ago, and I brought home a few traditional items from local markets as my souvenirs. I have a lovely set of rice bowls and chopsticks from a local store in Yokohama, plus a red laquer tray, rice paper parasol, silky blue carp kite/windsock and a paper mache mask.

Lighthouse Coloring Page

I've lived in New England most of my life and my favorite place to be no matter what the time of year  is close to the ocean. Although I was born near the Massachusetts shore,  I've always had a great passion  for the beauty of Maine's rugged and rambling rocky coast and her many lighthouses.

This summer I started a new coloring series with many New England images inclding this lighthouse coloring page poster based on one of my own Maine photographs. Enjoy this printable lighthouse line art  for any noncommercial use. It would make a nice emboidery pattern or tee shirt design.

Mexico celebrates their dear departed  on All Souls Day - right after Halloween, November 1. Dia de los Muertos is a day for families to remember loved ones and celebrate their life with household shrines, cemetary picnics, music, flowers and lots of skeletons and skulls. Celebrate el  Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) or Halloween with a Mexican folk art skull coloring poster.
