Mandala Coloring Art

Mandala coloring pages are the most sought-after adult coloring pages on my blogs and web sites. I'm not surprised ... mandalas are beautiful to draw, fun to color and restful for the mind as an artwork or picture for meditation.

Their popularity inspired me to make more mandala coloring pages and to research them online.

As a result, I've just created a new adult coloring lens at Squidoo, Mandala Coloring Books. Enjoy.

Adult Coloring Pages at Emerlye Arts

I've just discovered yet another artist who enjoys creating Adult Coloring Pages. Cynthia Emerlye is a talented Vermont artist who's working on an exquisite collection of complex coloring pictures for adults; she's trying to decide whether to publish these in a book or to offer them as poster size giftables art pages - visit her blog to see the sneak previews.

Patterns for Colouring

I've just discovered another fabulous site offering free coloring pages, actually patterns for colouring printables. You can download these large line drawings and use them for your own artwork, then submit your finished creations to the site for upload and display via Flickr.

I think you could make some terrific coloring crafts from these wonderful designs. The patterns are free to download for personal use, drawn by Carlton Hibbert and an assortment of invited artists.

Mr. Robot Coloring Sheet

Just added to the Kids Stuff coloring pages at Clip Art 'n Crafts ... a robot coloring page!

I'm thinking this would make cool clip art - just pull it into a desktop publishing program and fill the shapes with color. I can also see this as a quilt stitch pattern or free embroidery design pattern.

Whatever you use it for, it's the newest printable in the kids coloring book collection but I think it's a cool adult coloring page.

The Missing Celtic Knot Coloring Post

Today in a bleary-eyed fit of blogging I accidentally blew away one of my favorite posts. I really love  that Celtic Mandala coloring page. I meant to delete a draft that I no longer needed; alas, I deleted the mandala connection. So, here it is again ... same lovely Celtic Knot coloring picture, different blog post.

 Sorry.
